August 2010 - staying at ALMIRANTE FARRAGUT HOTEL
I would not hesitate to return to this hotel it was good value for money and the choice of meals was excellent. Please be aware that this hotel is not set on a beach but the various ways into the sea from around the hotel have been carefully thought out and are unique. This is the first time I have used Fleetway Travel and it was at short notice, I would not hesitate to use them again as the information given by the sales consultant was so helpful and everything went to plan .. So good holiday, good hotel, good flights with monarch and most of all good service with a travel company I will happily use againAugust 2010 - staying at SC/DIANAS II APARTMENTS
We really enjoyed our holiday to Menorca. We were concerned that our apartment was only a 1 star and expected the worst however we were pleasantly surprised. The apartments were in a quiet part of the resort, they were spacious and the beds were comfortable there was also a lovely pool. It seemed to mainly be used by Spanish families. The room was cleaned every other day. There were a few minor niggles - one of the cooking rings didn't work, the kettle lid was broken and the towels were very thin.Also it was extremely difficult to find as we drove there ourselves. We ended up asking the local police man - it would be useful to have a detailed map on the website. The reception is also only manned until 2pm so if you arrive after that it may take a while to check in!
All in all we were very happy with our holiday.
July 2010 - staying at STIL VICTORIA PLAYA
Good family hotel - lively and plenty for children to do. Clean and efficient - staff all really friendly.Lovely beach very close.
Plenty to eat - all inclusive - but a bit repetitive.
Santo Tomas really quiet - very little to do there.
July 2010 - staying at 3*GIS AREPAR APARTMENTS
Nice apartments, but joined to a larger complex (so not so quiet). Five minute walk to beach. Get up at 7 o'clock at least to reserve your sunbed ! Food is buffet style, wide choice, occasional vegetables. Cleaners only came twice in two weeks to change towels. Resort very quiet and not alot to do, beach lovely for kids with pedlos and canoes, snorkeling good. Island can be windy which then makes large waves. Nice holiday, two weeks too much, 10 days would be great. Quite expensive in shops and supermarkets. Been twice to Menorca now and would not go again.July 2010 - staying at BARCELO HAMILTON

Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it came close. This hotel appears to have been a former apartment complex. The entrance, dining area, terraces and pool are very nice and appear to have been recently refurbished, it's a pity they didn't include the guest rooms. Rooms are spacious but damp - and ants are very much at home. Facility and services are aimed at the Spanish or Italian holidaymaker. Only the receptionist spoke very basic English and all other guests were either Spanish or Italian. All entertainment was in Spanish or Italian, including access to TV, both in-room and in public areas. This Hotel is very isolated from other parts of the resort and is seperated from the beach by a National Park, which is protected and inaccessible. Their are no shops within strolling distance, the nearest ones are at the beach area - which is a 30 minute walk away - or you can take the novelty train which is advertised as free to guests. Be aware - only the ride TO the beach is free for guests, you have to pay 2 euros per person for the ride back. Food was sparse, hot food was (at times) lukewarm/cold and very basic. There is no local transport service to any other part of Menorca and you are effectively trapped, unless you hire a car or use taxis. If you want to go sightseeing, shopping, exploring then go somewhere else. Nearest other resort is Santa Tomas, which is far superior.......... and a 20 minute, 30 euro taxi ride away. I would not recommend this establishment to any British traveller.June 2010 - staying at JARDIN DE MENORCA
Lovely hotel,nicely kept with well maintained gardens and pools. Block 4A has some of the best views over rolling countryside. Ideal for families with young children and very safe for toddlers.Lifeguard most of the time around pools. Food and drink prices in the hotel a little on the high side.June 2010 - staying at AUDAX
on arrival the holiday rep told us to phone 48 hours before departure to find out when we would be picked up. This has never happened before it has always been the rep contacts the customer. Why should we incur phone calls when its the companies responsibility.The room allocated was very dark and very noisy due to the fact it was below the restaurant. At 2230 my wife had to plead with the reception to move us as we could not sleep due to the constant noise from above.
Fleetway must be aware of the rooms on floor three which are below the restaurant as the receptionist at the hotel admitted they had complaints previously.
June 2010 - staying at PARADISE CLUB
Hotel superb. Food plentiful and good. Staff very helpful and polite. Have been to better resorts, but the marina was a big plus. Overall, we were really delighted with the holiday.Thank you,.
