November 2011 - staying at EL MOURADI BEACH
Just returned from a fantastic memorable holiday at the El Mouradi in Yasmin Hammamet. The hotel welcomed us, could not do enough for us and made us feel very special, Help was on hand to assist me with my husband who was in a wheelchair. We were given a sea view room on the 2 floor which was superb to sit out on the balcony and take in the panoramic views. We would highly recommend this hotel and its position as it has a long flat promenade making easy walking very suited to any one with disability,
We Found the food very varied and of good quality and there was a multitude of choice for all tastes. Each area in the dinning room had its own Water and there own station to look after and we had a very good waiter who was very friendly and greeted us every day with a personal touch.
The outdoor pool was clean and well attended by the pool staff ( one man) who again looked after us both particularly well , especially my husband in the indoor pool which suited him better as it was nice and worm.Towels were available on request with a deposit which were changed as required.
The animation team were very friendly and again very helpful to my husband.
Flights both ways with B A excellent with good assistance .
Certainly a holiday to remember, we hope to have a similar holiday experience with you next year.
November 2011 - staying at IBEROSTAR SAPHIR PALACE
Amazing hotel, great staff. Quiet due to time of year. All ran very smoothly transfers etc.. Great tour guide with club med. Overall there is no way I'd normally be able to afford this fancy hotel so very happy.October 2011 - staying at HAMMAMET GARDEN RST
Lovely hotel staff also pleasant.Issue with Travel Rep on site whom we booked a trip through which was subsequently cancelled due to weather. He refused to give us a full refund and continually delayed payment, hotel management were informed unfortunately they were not immediately helpful and we had a very upsetting experience arguing with him. Eventually we received the refund (in a useless currency). We paid in sterling and were finally refunded in Dinars on our departure therefore had no opportunity to spend this money and hotel refused to assist. We had to return home with approx £80 worth of useless currency and are angry about this. If we had been refunded earlier there would have been no problem but the trip rep kept avoiding us. Tunisian Dinar cannot be converted outside the country, and our departure was also late and we were unable to do anything.
Our rooms were nice, we had booked 2 but the hotel tried to put us into 1, we refused and this was sorted out.
Food was fresh and fine, a little monotonous and bland but we have no complaints there.
The trip we did manage was the Tunisian Sahara Explorer and this was well organised and enjoyable.
Overall a good holiday, spoilt by one or two individuals over money. We do feel hotel management were lax in allowing this to occur, and not dealing with our issues properly, the hotel manager offered to pay us only SOME of the outstanding amount on behalf of the rep, stating that he needed to keep some for his trouble! We also had another unnerving experience when a man claiming to be an employee of the hotel, recognising us while walking along the seafront. HE said he'd show us the best place to eat and shop, and led us to his shop where we were hassled endlessly to buy things. I was even pulled back in through the doorway, a very horrible experience. I know how shopping works in these countries, but this was extreme. I'm not sure if he DID work in the hotel but this was reported by us to reception, and we heard nothing more - as expected. It was pure harrassment.
Pool was lovely and very well maintained and the drinks service also was excellent.
October 2011 - staying at 5*ALL SUITES DIAR LEMDINA
I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I could not fault them on their cleanliness and they were family friendly. THe food was delicious and the rooms were beautiful.September 2011 - staying at KINZA ZENITH
had a lovely time.Rooms very spacious and clean.very basic but would recommend it if you want to relax and enjoy the sun.September 2011 - staying at LE KHALIFE HOTEL
Fleetway were cery supportive when I made my inital booking. Was very happy with the service and advice. The holiday expereince was even better when I booked the transfer which was very cheap. I had two children with me so you can imagine how I wanted things to go smoothly. The hotel was a bit of a dissapointment the food was not soo good. They served the same food everyday and we stayed there for 7 days. Our booking was half board! But the people were lovely. Overall lovely holiday for the kids!August 2011 - staying at HAMMAMET GARDEN RESORT
Having just returned from this hotel i would like to commend the hotel staff and especially the Animation Team for a really enjoyable holiday. Some of the other foreign nationals staying at the hotel such as the French majority and the Russians could do with learning some manners, but this was not the hotels fault. We were a party of 5, 4 adults and 1 child of 4. The evening entertainment could be better. The food overall was good, but a bit repetative. The hotel facilities are of a good standard but could do with some modernisation. Unfortunately we were one of only 10 English people staying at the hotel. We probably would not go back to this hotel, having travelled other countries and stayed ib better accomodation. Basically, you get what you pay for and the hotel is good value for money at the right priceAugust 2011 - staying at EL MOURADI BEACH
Excellent holiday, everything went as planned without any problems. Only comment i would make is that the pool area is much smaller than it looks on all the photos however this wasnt a problem as the beach is very close and beautiful and we could always find a sun lounger around the pool.Transfer was a little longer than expected but didnt really cause any problems.
