Day trips are great from Skanes, venture into the dynamic old Arabic city of Monastir, great for tourist attractions, architecture, cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping. The Sahara desert is also near-by too for something special! Three day safaris are a great idea, visit ancient villages, roman ruins and movie sets such as Star Wars. Sousse is also near-by too and just asking to be explored.
