A ritzy new lobby with black granite floors and textured glass
walls is the first of many major unveilings at the hotel. Close
to 2,000 back-lit LED bulbs decorate the check-in desk, while
eight crystal chandeliers line the escalator, which leads up
to the main casino floor.
The interior design of the casino itself has also undergone
a metamorphosis, providing a brighter, airier ambience for the
100,000 square foot casino, with glowing, colorful neon lights
hanging down from the four-story ceiling and LED lights lining
the walls. A new, hip hangout called the Heart Bar provides
ample people-watching opportunities with its black leather go-go
clad waitresses and central location on the casino floor.
Thanks to a layout with multiple floors, gamblers will never
be at a loss for action, with gaming options – including
slots, blackjack, craps, poker, a sports book and keno –
located on both the main or the mezzanine level, which also
features several overlooks of the main floor.
Upstairs, guests can also enjoy gourmet dining at Bonsai, Elements
or Tremezzo. More casual dining can be found back on the main
casino level at Zanzibar Café, which features the acclaimed
Los Angeles-imported Pink's hot dogs.
Those seeking relaxation, will revel in taking a dip in one
of the Aladdin Resort & Casino's two pools, or heading to
the Elemis Spa and Salon for a therapeutic body treatment.
Those who want to party, should check out the hip nightspot
Krave, located adjacent to the Desert Passage shopping center,
a massive, circular mall.
Access to Desert Passage can be found in several locations,
including the main casino floor. Inside Desert Passage –
where crackling thunder heralds a rainstorm show that pours
from the ceiling – shoppers will find more than 140 shops
and a dozen restaurants, as well as exciting entertainment like
V-- The Ultimate Variety Show and Steve Wyrick Real Magic.
A variety of original shows take place in the V Theatre as
well as the Steve Wyrick entertainment complex (opening in spring
2007), inside the mall. The Aladdin Theatre, meanwhile, is one
of the best concert venues in Las Vegas, featuring performances
by some of the best and brightest stars in the world. The Aladdin
is, after all, where the "King of Rock 'n' Roll" Elvis
Presley, married his bride, Priscilla.
