Arriving in Rovaniemi, you’ll be transferred to the Wild Nordic Lodge, a wonderful arctic village, for two nights with included breakfast and dinner (a choice of buffet or three-course). Your stay will be in a Panorama Design Hut – a unique space that was newly built in 2017. Complete with panoramic windows, you can wake up to wonderful views of the snowy surroundings.
On your second day, you will embark on an incredible snowmobile safari where you’ll whizz around the Arctic Circle. En route, you’ll stop at a local reindeer farm and go on a 700-metre reindeer ride. Shortly after this you will witness the mysterious Arctic Circle ceremony before heading to the local Husky Man’s camp. You’ll learn about these majestic animals and dog sledding itself, before of course being pulled around by them.
On day three, you’ll be taken to Santa Clause Village where you will spend three hours looking around the home of Father Christmas. After this, you will be transferred to the incredible Arctic Snow Hotel – where you’ll spend your final night in a snowroom.
On day four, you’ll be taken to the airport where you’ll catch your return flight home.
Wild Nordic Lodge
Providing everything that is great about a stay in Lapland, a holiday in the Wild Nordic Lodge gives you a cosy hut to stay in, a sheet of white snow all around, and proximity to the numerous incredible excursions on offer. Your Panorama Design Hut has huge windows to look out of, a private bathroom, and comfortable amenities, meaning you’ll wake up with a smile on your face.
Arctic Snow Hotel
This unique hotel is re-carved each year from the winter's ice, creating an unusual hotel made from the frozen snow. Each room holds a temperature of between 0-5°C, so sleeping bags that are designed for cold conditions, alongside reindeer fur throws, are provided to ensure a super snug night's sleep. The rooms are atmospherically lit with coloured lights and provide an unforgettable night’s sleep.
It is advisable to pack a warm hat, a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers and wool socks, so that you can make the most of your stay here.
