The capital city of Victoria is just a 10-minute drive away, while there are a number of great local restaurants and cafés within walking distance.
In addition to its fantastic position opposite the Indian Ocean, the Coral Strand has some amazing facilities to ensure you have a relaxing stay. Those seeking serenity can relax in the reading area, while those wanting to combine a good book with some sunbathing can retire to the ocean deck. There are two onsite pools and several off-site water sports for guests too. In terms of dining, there are three restaurants to sample, including Island Trader, a relaxed environment for themed buffet meals and local Creole specialties, Mahek, which offers the best of Indian cuisine, and the Ocean Deck, which serves up great seafood and a relaxed happy hour for cocktails and other drinks.
A complete holiday paradise, Seychelles is everything you could want from a relaxing retreat – white sands, warm azure waters, and incredible hospitality. Made up of 115 islands, with an average high temperature of 30C in May, it’s an ideal early getaway before the business of summer descends. Mahe Island is the main island of Seychelles and is home to the capital city, Victoria. Bordered by mountains and with roughly 25,000 inhabitants – it’s a unique capital city. Named after Queen Victoria, it has lively markets, beautiful botanical gardens, several shopping centres, a National Museum, and so much more. Most Seychelles holidays revolve around relaxation and your stay is found on the beautiful Beau Vallon Beach; the hub of all things relaxing. Picture-perfect in its design, it’s a great place to take boat trips from, as well as embarking on some scenic walks. The water isn’t very deep and lends itself perfectly to some light paddling, while the sunsets are something else.
