This 3-night Lapland experience introduces you to the best this amazing area has to offer - with stays at two unique hotels, daily breakfast, and all travel included. Your first hotel will be Lapland Hotel Ounasvaara, where you’ll stay in a quaint chalet that is indicative of the area – giving you a cosy two-night stay. From here, you’ll be transferred to the Arctic Snow Hotel for a one-night stay. Here, you’ll stay in a unique snow room*, where the furniture and fixtures are all made from snow and ice – ensuring you’ll have a night you’ll never forget.
Those wanting to pack in as much to their Lapland experience as possible will find an additional opportunity to explore the wilderness by snowmobile with two hours of high-octane exploration. Additionally, those wanting to upgrade their room at the Arctic Snow Hotel can opt for a glass igloo stay. These rooms are distinctively shaped like igloos and feature glass walls so you can take in the amazing views around you, and if you’re lucky, perhaps even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
Lapland Hotel Ounasvaara Chalets, Rovaniemi
Found right next to the beautiful Kemijoki river, the Lapland Hotel Ounasvaara a gorgeous Finnish hotel that offers three restaurants, a heated lakeside sauna, and modern accommodation. The hotel offers direct access to ski tracks and pretty walking trails, giving guests the opportunity to escape into nature. Your stay will be in a spacious Standard Chalet with two twin beds, complimentary Wi-Fi, a selection of hot drinks and a flat-screen TV. Daily breakfast will be provided during your stay.
Arctic Snow Hotel
The unique Arctic Snow Hotel offers rooms made of ice and snow, as well as rooms styled as igloos, for an authentic Lapland experience. Onsite facilities include a snow sauna, ice bar and three lakeside restaurants serving up both local and international fare, with particularly great options for seafood. Ice fishing, ice sculpting and snowshoeing are three available pastimes for guests staying to help you really get into the Lappish way of life. Accommodation is unique here with room types including snow rooms and glass igloos. Your stay is in the SnowHotel (available from January onwards), which has furniture made out of ice and a unique design in each room. Rooms unsurprisingly reach temperatures between 0C and -5C degrees – ensuring you’re in for a truly unique night’s sleep. You can also upgrade to a glass igloo during your stay, warm and comfortable, they allow you to watch the night sky as you sleep. All the better if you’re lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. You’ll have an en-suite, adjustable twin beds and a specialised alarm ready to wake you up if aurora borealis decides to show up.
