Take in the splendour of Africa with this amazing twin country holiday to both Zimbabwe and Botswana. Two under-visited African destinations, much of both countries have an unspoiled beauty to them. You’ll spend four nights in Zimbabwe with daily breakfast included, at either Shearwater Village or Cresta Sprayview, depending on your day of departure. After this, you’ll spend three days in Botswana on a full-board basis at the four-star River View Lodge, with an included game drive and even a cruise.
During your time in Zimbabwe, you’ll stay in Victoria Falls, one of the most stunning spots in the whole country. Home to the eponymous Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, you’ll have easy access to this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site. Moving onto Botswana and the beautiful town of Kasane – your stay here includes a game drive in Chobe National Park, as well as a cruise down the Chobe River.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Found on the southern bank of the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls is a Zimbabwean town found very close to the large waterfalls of the same name. Unsurprisingly, these world’s-largest waterfalls are the main draw to a stay here and they have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989. The falls’ native name is Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning ‘The Smoke that Thunders’, and it offers incredible vistas from all around, as well as rafting for those adrenalin junkies visiting.
A gorgeous town in unspoiled Botswana, Kasane represents the striking natural beauty found in many African countries, largely due to the fact of its location – a meeting point of four different countries in Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, and Zimbabwe. With direct access to the two major rivers of the Zambezi and the Chobe, it’s certainly a stunning place to visit. The Chobe National Park offers guests a great opportunity to tick off a game drive off their bucket lists, seeing such animals as lions, elephants, raptors, a wide array of bird species, and hippos.
Shearwater’s Explorers Village
Found in the gorgeous hub of Victoria Falls, Shearwater’s Explorers Village is a cosy and convenient hotel for your stay in Zimbabwe. Found just a 100 yards away from Elephant’s Walk Shopping & Artist Village, it’s easy to get a taste for the beautiful local surroundings. Found on the gorgeous banks of the Chobe River in Kasana, the River View Lodge has an idyllic location in Botswana, surrounded by manicured gardens and possessing stunning views. The tastefully appointed rooms and chalets have wonderful features like private verandas, spacious en-suites, and air conditioning throughout. The on-site restaurant covers all of your meals here, including an afternoon tea option when you’re peckish between lunch and dinner.
