Time to Read

There aren’t many better things in life than travelling – going to a place you’ve never been before, walking its streets, eating its food, and drinking it all in. Taking that idea one step even further, rather than just visiting somewhere new for you, why not visit somewhere that’s new for everyone? Not quite on the same page, yet? Don’t worry, we’ll explain.

Luštica Bay is a brand-new area built on the gorgeous coast of Montenegro, turning what used to be just open land into an exciting new destination that’s made (quite literally) for a stunning holiday.

Built to emulate the traditional fishing villages along the Adriatic coast, the undoubted heart of this amazing new area is its illustrious marina. Able to accommodate hundreds of vessels, boats of all shapes and sizes are able to pass through – ensuring you’ll always have something to watch come in with the tide. The area is being developed each day to incorporate more features, with numerous restaurants, cafés, and bars being added. But one thing that is already waiting to welcome you to Luštica Bay is the gorgeous 5-star hotel, The Chedi Luštica Bay.

Having just opened on the 23rd July 2018, the hotel’s elegant rooms and facilities are completely brand new – waiting for guests to put them to good use.

Occupying a remarkable position between gorgeous mountains and the turquoise ocean, the hotel’s assets are just as impressive as the surrounding views. The hotel has two restaurants for guests to choose from - the sleek main restaurant offers a twist on usual Mediterranean fare, and leisurely eatery, The Spot, is perfect for light snacks and alfresco lunches. For drinks, the Lobby Bar is the perfect place to spend a calm evening, while The Rok beach bar is a truly stunning locale to sip a cocktail or two. Oh yeah, did we mention that the hotel has its own private beach?

The Chedi Luštica Bay has its own onsite spa with great facilities, an array of treatments, and a fitness centre. Offering an indoor pool, group yoga classes, and revitalising massages, the hotel’s spa really does have it all. And if you wanted a swim outside in the beautiful Montenegrin sunshine, the infinity pool is on hand to satisfy that very reasonable urge.

Now obviously, we’re the ones selling this hotel, so maybe take it from the very first review which has now been left on TripAdvisor – of which I’m sure, will be the first of many. We’ve posted a few tidbits below, but you can view it in full here

On the room – “Back to exploring the room. Yes, it was that large, it felt like I was off on an expedition. I nosed in the fridge and searched through the cupboards and drawers in the kitchenette. What’s this? A microwave, crockery, wines galore. And is that a second loo over there? Being a fussy traveller, I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely everything was.”

On the staff – “Nothing was too much trouble. Not fancying what’s on the menu? They’ll tempt you with a recommendation; Need to go to the supermarket? They’ll arrange transportation; Access to the private beach? Marko escorted us there. Nisa at Reception and Marko at the door, all the bar staff, waiting staff, Spa staff, security and cleaners welcomed us and treated us as if we were the only guests there and that’s what some other hotels lack.”

Want to be one of the next who venture to this stunning hotel? Then, head on over to the hotel’s page and read more about its wonderful facilities.
